14.09.2020

Since 2019, the Institute of History and International Relations of the Southern Federal University has been training masters in the program "Transnational Relations: Russia, Asia, Europe".

“In the age of globalization and the information society, the interconnections between different regions and cultures play a crucial role in shaping social, political and economic development, so a deep knowledge of historical forces is essential to understand modern dynamics.

Transnational corporations today require more and more experts to analyze complex political and economic relations. Our master's program offers a strong history education with a focus on transnational relations in Eurasia, ”said Oksana Karnaukhova, Ph.D.

Master's studies are carried out within the framework of the international program Jean Monnet Network "The EU and the EEU: Between Conflict and Competition, Convergence and Cooperation" in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences in Vienna, University. Corvinus in Budapest, the University of Passau and the Armenian State University of Economics.

The training is carried out entirely in English with the involvement of leading foreign scientists and practitioners, including experts accredited at the UN. In just a year of implementation, the program attracted applicants from many countries - from Iraq to China and from Russia to Cote d'Ivoire.

During their studies, students in the role of analysts have practical training on the basis of foreign partner universities, in analytical centers, as well as in various departments of Russia and abroad (for example, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Rostov Region, Caucasus-Asia Center).

The program "Transnational Relations: Russia, Asia, Europe" allows you to realize yourself as international analysts already at the stage of training, as well as to undergo an internship in leading Russian and international research centers.
